Ashington CFC Juniors

Ashington CFC Junior Section was formed in 2000 from the amalgamation of two existing local clubs, FC Essendene and College Rangers, which were established in 1993 and 1996 respectively.
On amalgamation a management committee was formed to run Ashington CFC Juniors. The committee consists Chair, Vice Chair, Club Secretary, Treasurer and four Committee Members.
We provide football training from the age of five years and up.
We have teams in the NMSL and NABC Leagues at present. Also three teams in the local girls leagues.
We offer football training and league football to approximately 220 local youngsters.
Each football team consists of a Manager and Coach at least one of whom holds a FA Coaching Qualification and are CRB checked.
One of the aims of the Junior Section is to act as a feeder to the Ashington Senior Squad and the local football academies.
In June 2004 the Club achieved the NFA Charter Mark.
